Clash Royale Lavahound Deck That got me to Frozen Peak !!
If you are looking for a stunning Lava Hound deck in Clash Royale, you definitely should give this LavaLoonion deck a try! This deck was shared by Ash and personally I have found it very very impressive! Also, I am going to show you some great tips for using Lava Hound!
LavaLoonion Deck for Arena 7 and 8
Cards
Lava Hound is the new beautiful Legendary tanker in Clash Royale, which doesn’t deal much damage itself. However, because it is an unique tanker, many players have found this new guy impressive, including me. Lava Hound is obviously the most important card in any deck that using it, everything must work based on it.
Lava Hound will be used in most pushes of this deck. The main job of Lava Hound is to high DPS troops behind to the opponent’s Tower by distracting all incoming fire. It is recommended to place it at the corner so it will not get distracted by centralized buildings easily. You will want to be careful when placing it down. I recommend using it when you have 10 Elixir so you will have enough Elixir to defend.

Balloon is the main damage dealer in this deck. I recommend sending Balloon once Lava Hound has crossed the river and baited out air targeting troops. You should always assume that your opponent can place something down behind your Lava Hound and your Balloon will get killed quickly, that’s why you should always have a counter in your hands and place it down correctly. I am going to discuss about this in the next part of this post.
Minions are effectively used on both offense and defense. While pushing, Minions are used for protecting your Balloon and taking out opponent’s troops. I usually wait until my opponent places down his counter. Sometimes, Minions are also very useful when you don’t have enough Elixir to use Balloon in sneak pushes. If you want to bait out Inferno Tower or any other building, you also can use Minions. On defense, Minions are the best card to counter ground troops such as Valkyrie, Barbarians, Bomber, Hog Rider,… and when coupled with Barbarians or Mini P.E.K.K.A, they will help you remove tankers very quickly.
Mini P.E.K.K.A can be effectively used on both offense and defense. She is the heavy hitter who can take out most beefy troops. If gets ignored, she can deal loads of damage to opponent’s Tower. Sometimes, If my Mini P.E.K.A is running down opponent’s lane, I am always willing to use Zap to protect her! I very like using Mini P.E.K.K.A to deal with Hog Rider, Giant, Wizard, Valkyrie,…
Barbarians are mainly used to defend in this deck. They could deal with almost any ground troop, Sparky, P.E.K.K.A,…
Spear Goblins is an amazing defensive card which can target air troops and distract troops. I always like using them to lure P.E.K.K.A, Giant Skeleton, Prince, Minion Horde,… You will not want to use Spear Goblins against AoE troop but If you have to, place it behind something! If your opponent has 1-2 AoE troops in his hands, you definitely can use them on offense. Sometimes, Lava Hound + Spear Goblins combo is enough to take out an entire Arena tower.
Fireball is a great card which can help you deal with large groups such as Barbarians, Three Musketeers (very popular right now), Minion Horde,… Fireball is also great for finishing off Towers.
Zap is one of my favorite cards in Clash Royale. You can use Zap to reset charges/targets of Sparky, Dark Prince, Prince, Royal Giant, Inferno Tower,… Zap is great at dealing with Minions, Goblins, Spear Goblins,… I usually use Zap on offense to reset opponent’s defensive buildings, force them to attack my Lava Hound. Minion Horde is the best counter to this deck but them can be killed quickly by Zap + Spear Goblins. If your opponent plays his Giant and you are going to get Barbarians in the next cycle, just Zap Royal Giant and drop your Barbarians right after that.
